1. Source hierarchy
Candidate-specific instructions in an EPSO account or invitation come first. For general competition rules, we use the current consolidated notice, the legally published EUR-Lex notice and the official EU Careers competition page. Institutional facts are checked against EUR-Lex, Europa and the responsible institution.
Secondary preparation sites, forums and social posts may reveal a question candidates are asking, but they are not treated as evidence for dates, eligibility, scoring or test operations.
2. Claim verification
Stable claims such as test structure are checked against the controlling notice. Time-sensitive claims are dated and linked to the current official update. We record the last meaningful review date and revise content when the official position changes; dates are not refreshed merely to make a page appear new.
The 30 June 2026 EPSO update splitting testing into Part 1 and Part 2 is reflected throughout the AD5 guide. Part 1 reasoning is expected from October/November 2026, while the remaining tests are planned for 2027 on dates still to be announced.
3. Preparation content
AD5 Elite is independent and does not reproduce confidential test material. Practice content is designed from published formats and competence descriptions. Explanations must identify why the supported answer works and, where useful, why plausible alternatives fail.
Numerical material must expose all figures required to solve the item. Abstract material must contain a consistent visual rule and enough information to infer it. EU Knowledge and Digital Skills material should link to an appropriate official subject source.
4. Multilingual publication
English is the canonical editorial source. A localized guide is published only after structural checks, terminology review, preservation of figures and links, and a language-specific quality pass. We do not present an unreviewed machine translation as a verified editorial edition.
The rollout therefore proceeds in controlled language batches. Existing English, French, Spanish, Italian, German and Greek guides remain the reviewed priority set; further EU languages are added only when the same checks can be evidenced.
5. Corrections and accountability
Material defects are corrected by family, not only on the reported item. A question report triggers a check of related templates, translations and visual variants. Editorial pages identify the responsible team, reviewer and verification date. Readers can report a suspected error through the support form.
6. Search and analytics ethics
Search data is used to discover unmet candidate needs and improve useful pages. It is not used to mass-produce near-duplicate pages. Optional site analytics require consent and exclude answers, question text, email addresses, account identifiers, payment details and written drafts.
